Abstract

The purpose of this article is to clarify, through an exploratory and bibliographical methodology, the extent to which the admission of the Amicus Curiae institute as a form of third party intervention in the Brazilian Code of Civil Procedure interferes with the principles of speed and procedural economy in the first degree jurisdiction.
